他跟很多的平凡人一样，来自寒门，从小父母离异，由婆婆抚养长大。在创业之前，他当过煤气运送员和工厂员工。在1999年，他发现成为销售是改变命运最好的选择，所以成为了销售员。

“我也知道要成功唯一的选择就是成为第一，读书时成绩不好，但坚信只要努力，寒门也能出贵子。”

Calvin Khiu的目标是要成为全球最具影響力的企业导师，让更多人因“杰青大道十二步”少走至少十年的冤枉路，用OE的企业思维模式感染学生迈向成功幸福的企业。

迄今，他的学生已涵盖来自英国、西班牙、印度、香港、印度尼西亚、柬埔寨、新加坡、澳大利亚、中国、泰国、台湾和越南。学生包括了企业家，专业人士，艺人，网红，而如今网红学生的全网总粉丝也超过2000万，他希望以他的热情与激情，能够引领更多卓越的企业学生深层的对接走向世界。

Datuk Wira (Dr) Calvin Khiu aspires to impact lives with his own life and inspire more ambitious young individuals through his stories. He aims to influence aspiring entrepreneurs to embark on the path of entrepreneurship.

Like many ordinary people, he came from a humble background, raised by his grandmother after his parents' divorce. Prior to starting his own business, he worked as a gas deliveryman and a factory employee. In 1999, he realized that becoming a salesperson was the best choice to change his destiny, so he became one.

"I knew that the only way to succeed was to be the best. Although I didn't excel academically, I firmly believed that with hard work, even someone from a humble background could achieve greatness."

Calvin Khiu's goal is to become the world's most influential business mentor, guiding more people to avoid wasting at least ten years on the wrong path with his "OE Twelve Steps to Success" program and inspiring students to pursue successful and fulfilling entrepreneurial journeys using the OE entrepreneurial mindset.

To date, his students come from various countries including the United Kingdom, Spain, India, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Cambodia, Singapore, Australia, China, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam. His students include entrepreneurs, professionals, artists, and internet celebrities, with the combined total online following of over 20 million fans. With his enthusiasm and passion, he hopes to lead more outstanding business students to connect deeply with the world.
